2018 / 02 / 08 6578

Everyone has to pack before a trip, but not everyone are good at organizing everything and packing smartly. Here are the tips for packing that will make a trip not break a trip.

1.     Write a checklist.

You'd better think of all the stuff by categories, and write down each item before packing, such as Clothing, Toiletries, Documents, Electronics and Accessories, Personal Travel WiFi Hotspot, Money, etc.

2.     Prepare according to the checklist.

Find out all the stuff on the checklist, and put them into small pouches by categories. It will help you to organize things. You definitely hate dismantling your entire bag in a panic if you want to know whether something is missing. It will also help to persuade you to narrow down the list if there are too many stuff.

3.     Choose Luggage.

It is wise to put all heavy items in a trolley case, while put valuables and frequently used items in a carry-on luggage or handbag. It is more convenient to have a trolley case rolling with 4 wheels. Make sure the weight and size are not beyond airline restrictions. Avoid checking in luggage if possible. It will save you much time.

When you do need to check in the luggage, don't forget to put a special tag on it for quick recognition. The carry-on luggage itself should be light-weight. Duffel bag with large space will be a good choice.

4.     Load your luggage.

Check the weather of your destination, and choose light weight and versatile clothing. Pack clothing using the time-honored "roll" technique. Lay 2 or 3 dresses on top of each other and roll them up, then put these rolls tightly in luggage to save space and prevent wrinkles.

Always choose travel-sized containers for all toiletries, and pack them in a pouch in case of leakage.

Print all reservation forms, passport, personal ID and save a copy electronically. Put them in your carry-on luggage for easy access.

Put all electronics and accessories into a separate pouch and load it in the outside compartment of your carry-on luggage or handbag. You most likely need to retrieve the power adapter or earphone when you are on the transport.

Scatter the cash in different places in case of steal and lost.

5.     Indispensable travel gadgets.

To make your journey comfortable and relaxing, these gadgets are the norm for international trips:
